(What it was a when you watched it)
Well, when it comes to(khi
xét đến/nhắc đến cái gì) watching live performances or music shows, the very experience that springs to my mind(hiện ra trong tâm trí) first is the play 'Romeo & Juliet' by William Shakespeare that I enjoyed at the city theatre three years ago. Romeo and Juliet is a play written by William Shakespeare.
The setting is in Italy and is about the love between two young people from noble(cao quý) families that are enemies. Romeo and Juliet has always been one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays. It has been also adapted(chuyển thể) to the opera, ballet, television productions, and movies.
(Who you were with)
I watched this play with my closest friend, Jennie. At that time, we were studying for a Masters Degree in London in the same university, and when we heard that a team would come to London to perform Romeo and Juliet, we planned to watch it without hesitation(không do dự). It was quite cumbersome (nhọn nhằn, khó khăn) to book the tickets as the play was so popular, but we managed eventually.
(And explain why you watched it)
There are several factors that made this play a worth-watching(đáng xem) theatrical performance. The professional acting, captivating(thu hút) dialogues, intense romantic tale, wrenching(gây mệt mỏi, đau đớn) separation and the tragic twist of the tale(bước ngoặt bi kịch của câu chuyện) make the play unforgettable and timeless. The costumes(trang phục) of the performers were just the way they should be.
Their dresses, stage, music, their makeup, their accent, and the passionate(đầy nhiệt huyết) acting created the illusion of the real Romeo-Juliet era (ảo ảnh về thời đại Romeo và Juliet đích thực). The production and acting were superb and totally worthy of commendation (sự khen ngợi). I still remember a news article later on that acclaimed the actors, and actresses of the London team and the superb professionalism and artistic production of a great play.
